ADVENT WREATH
WORKSHOP

Make an Advent wreath this Christmas season

A Wesley Grove church member makes an Advent wreath during the annual Advent Wreath Workshop.

Wesley Grove UMC proudly offers an Advent Wreath workshop on the first Sunday of Advent. The workshop is held after the 11 a.m. worship service.

In addition to pizza, all attendees will be supplied with a large platter, four floral sponge bricks bound together, candles, fresh tree clippings (from evergreen, spruce, magnolia, and holly tress), and decorative items to personalize your wreath. You have the flexibility to create a wreath as large or as small as you want.

We hope you will be able to participate in this event. It provides a wonderful way for you and your family to remember the four virtues Jesus brings us each Sunday of Advent: Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace. On Christmas Eve or Christmas Day we light the Christ candle to remind us that Jesus is the light of the world. The Advent Wreath is a symbol that continually reminds us of the coming of Jesus, and that we are called to be followers of Jesus.

All attendees are required to RSVP prior to the event so our coordinators can ensure the appropriate amount of materials are provided. If interested, please email your RSVP to wgumcoffice@gmail.com.
